Transfer Process Overview

All courses taken at institutions other than CUA must be evaluated for equivalency. The evaluation process requires the collaboration of the school, department, student, and off-campus institutions. The transfer credit office facilitates this process for all incoming transfer students, summer courses, and study abroad courses.

When a course from another institution is determined to have a CUA equivalent by faculty, fills a degree requirement, and is compliant with all policies, the transfer course may be applied to the student's academic record at CUA.
